Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an event agency and a caterer or venue hire company?

A caterer or venue hire company provides one specific service: food or space. An event agency coordinates all the suppliers needed: venue, catering, audiovisual, decoration, entertainment, logistics.

Chroma Technique goes further with expertise in audiovisual technical direction: we guarantee the technical and artistic consistency of your event. Our added value lies in this overall vision, led by technical experts.

What types of events do you manage?

We manage a wide range of events, including congresses, trade shows, corporate events, product launches, conferences and much more. We support events of all sizes.

How much does an event agency cost for a corporate seminar?

The budget depends on the format, the number of attendees, the duration, the venue and the level of technical set-up (audiovisual, interactivity, multi-room control). Our pricing approach is based on full transparency on how the budget is allocated, optimisation according to your priorities (audiovisual, catering, venue…) and a detailed quote once your needs have been scoped.

How long does it take to organise a corporate event?

The recommended lead time depends on the scale of the project:

  • Tailored event with entertainment (500+ people): 2 to 4 months. Not recommended at short notice.
  • International or multi-site event: 9 to 12 months. Not recommended at short notice.

Planning ahead remains the best lever for quality and budget optimisation. Our experience allows us to speed up certain phases, but the availability of venues and suppliers remains a limiting factor.

How does working with an event agency work?

Our collaboration follows a structured 5-phase method (see our method above). You remain the decision-maker on strategic direction (concept, messages, budget); we take care of operations and technical coordination.

The frequency of contact adapts to the schedule:

  • Weekly during the design phase
  • Fortnightly during the coordination phase
  • Daily in the week before the event
  • In real time on show day
Do you work with specific suppliers, or can we keep our usual partners?

We have a large network of trusted partners, but we are also flexible and can work with your usual suppliers. Our aim is to put together the best-suited team to ensure the success of your event.

Can you handle just part of the event, such as logistics or technical production?

Absolutely, our services are modular according to your needs. Whether you need full support or help with specific aspects of your event, we are here to bring you our expertise.
